At Fullscreen, I led creative vision, creative strategy, and design for the youth-focused media company, creating killer product and marketing experiences. Fullscreen was really three businesses under one roof: first, a creator/influencer talent management service, plugging into that a robust social marketing agency to fuel fandoms and brand partnerships, and third was the entertainment group that built a successful subscription video service—from zero to 1.2M accounts with a wide variety of original content and differentiated product experiences.
Built and led a team of UX, UI, research, marketing and project managers to imagine and build web, mobile, TV, and acquisition experiences to power Fullscreen’s slate of original and licensed content for it’s rapidly growing user base.
Drove innovative new features like Mood Search and Watch Party, where friends could virtually watch and chat together during viewing, which increased engagement by 14%, building a vibrant community around content.
Fullscreen’s parent company, The Chernin Group, used Fullscreen’s consumer growth from zero to +1.2M users and engaging product suite to strengthen the sale of Otter Media to AT&T for ~$900M in 2018.

The goal of this document is to define a simple and flexible system, with a unified experience across platforms, screen sizes, and input methods. We focused on illustrating the overarching systems, connections and themes that constitute the Fullscreen consumer product experience, and how to apply the foundation in a cohesive and consistent way across devices.
